Wearing the right kind of jewelry can make you look and feel like a million bucks. There are so many different styles out there for every occasion, but not all pieces will work well with your everyday outfits. I've got some tips on how to find those perfect matches!

 

Six Tips for Choosing Everyday Jewelry

Minimal Design

The simplest of all designs is often the most elegant. A simple druzy stud, a classic pair of gold hoop earrings, or a classic metallic beaded bracelet are all fabulous ways to incorporate accessories into your everyday jewelry look. I love pieces that can be worn with anything and still look great on their own or as part of an outfit, so these choices from our inventory are perfect!

Personal style

I love to find new ways of adding a pop of color or texture with my pieces. It's not always about what you're wearing, sometimes it is how! A statement piece can take your outfit from boring to fabulous. You can make your look more interesting by combining different elements into one cohesive look that still feels fresh without being too out there.

When choosing the perfect everyday jewelry, wear what you love. For everyday wear, you want to choose something that makes you feel fabulous and yet provides a level of comfort. Let me explain, if you love small dainty earrings I would suggest wearing those for your everyday look. I'd save some big statement earrings for a special occasion or event. Why? Because eventually those statement earrings may make you uncomfortable. There's nothing worse than feeling irritated or uncomfortable.

Stay within budget

I’m always on the hunt for new fashion inspiration, but sometimes it can be hard to know where you should start.  One of my favorite things about shopping online are designer jewelry pieces that come at such an affordable price point – they’re perfect if you’re looking without breaking the bank!

When trying to stay on budget and choosing the perfect everyday jewelry - think versatility. Are these pieces classic or will they be out of style next season? Are these pieces versatile (can you wear them to multiple events and transition from day to night?) or are you only able to wear them to a limited number of events? Also keep in mind that a good piece of costume jewelry can still be pricey. Just because it's pricey or costume doesn't mean you should avoid it. Why? Because these pieces will last year for years to come. Buying cheap and poorly made pieces will cause you to spend more money in the long run.

Layer

The best way to show your personality is through the clothes and the accessories you wear. I recommend layered pieces so that they can be mixed up, matched with other styles, or worn alone depending on what is going on for a particular outfit!

An easy every day jewelry look is laying bracelets. I love mixing and matching bracelets to create the ultimate fabulous stack. When deciding what to wear, don't over think it. Just pop them on for a touch of color and style.

Statement jewelry

Statement pieces are a great way to make an outfit bold and memorable. To me, this is the easiest way to accessorize. Wearing a simple t-shirt and shorts? Just pop on a fabulous pair of statement earrings! One piece of jewelry suddenly elevates your entire look to the next level. You'll look refined and polished... but more importantly, you'll feel polished, put together, and like the ultimate fashionista! 

With just one piece of amazing jewelry, you don’t need anything else. For me personally, if there was any where I’d like more bling, it’s my ears!
